TYLER - Officials say Playstation owners, and smart-phone users could be some of the newest victims of identity theft.
In addition, the Texas Comptroller and Citigroup all saw recent data breaches.
Officials at Sony say. 77-million accounts were jeopardized by hackers who broke into the Playstation Network.
Experts say there are simple things you can do to protect yourself from hackers.
Multiple passwords, monitoring your bank statements, and investing in some sort of protection are just a few of the way that can help.
While they say you can never be 100-percent protected, it doesn't mean we should try.
