SMITH COUNTY — Fire officials on the scene report the fire is now under control.
They tell KETK, the fire started in a back room of the house. Officials believe the fire might have been electrical.
They say the family was home at the time, but there are no reports of any injuries.
Smith County fire officials confirm reports of a house fire at 12071 FM 14 in Smith County.
Winona Fire Department has requested aid to assist with the fire. There are reports of smoke visible from the windows of the home.
Officials say the call came in just before 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
