Several roads selected by TX-DOT will see work over coming weeks
Lufkin — The Lufkin Daily News is reporting; some busy pieces of pavement will soon be getting a facelift, courtesy of Texas Department of Transportation.
Some of that construction will be done during hours of less traffic. Beginning Thursday: nighttime work from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Frank Avenue from Pal’s Video to Loop 287.
Then on Monday, May 16, crews will lay hot mix on Loop 287 north from the end of pavement (near RSC Equipment Rental past Ellen Trout Zoo) to the cloverleaf intersection at U.S. 59 north.
