ORLANDO, Fla. — Endeavour is scheduled to lift off at 8:56 eastern time this morning for its final mission into outer space.
After an electrical problem grounded the mission two weeks ago, NASA officials say the repairs are complete and the launch is a "go".
The mission's flight commander is Mark Kelly. His wife, Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, will be at the Kennedy Space Center for the launch.
Giffords was critically injured in a mass shooting in January that killed six others.
