Tyler, TX — The disconnect between Washington D.C. and the rest of the nation continues to be a problem.
The head of the EPA went on a TV show last night and told the host that the Environmental Protection Agency is really popular outside of Washington D.C.
Lisa Jackson says, the only heat they get is inside of the beltway by lobbyists and special interest. I had to read that line three times to make sure I read it right.
What sort of a dream wold is she living in? If anywhere, I think D.C. would most revere the EPA because it is a political organization with a left-wing agenda.
Right now, we are staring at $4 a gallon gasoline. The speculators are running wild on Wall Street. The administration seems to be looking out for oil drilling in other parts of the world, but not here.
Last weekend he gave it some lip service. but insiders will tell you it's not enough.
I don't think the EPA is popular with most of Texas. We cannot drill in west Texas right now because the head of the Texas EPA doesn't want to kill off a little critter called the sand lizard. Is this a real love for an animal or another way to thwart drilling for oil in Texas, the most prolific state when it comes to drilling for oil?
I guess it doesn't matter because it stops Texans from drilling for oil and creating jobs. And no no drilling keeps oil prices high.
If Ms. Jackson thinks the EPA is so beloved outside of the beltway, she needs to take a listening tour across the country and start with Texas.
I bet she'd go home stunned.
That's my point of view, what's yours?
