TYLER - The Tyler Independent School District launched a new campaign Monday to hopefully put a stop to high school students skipping class.
Campaign posters will be in classrooms and hallways throughout John Tyler and Robert E. Lee high schools to bring awareness to students and teachers about the issue.
Middle schools will also get a hold of the posters.
Tyler ranks above the state's average on attendence, but some kids still slip through the cracks.
The campaign is aimed to help keep these kids in school and out of trouble.
