DALLAS (AP) —
Authorities say the body of a man found atop storm-related debris in Dallas may be a victim of fast-moving thunderstorms that whipped through North Texas.
Dallas Fire-Rescue spokesman Jason Evans said the unidentified man was found Wednesday morning near downed power lines and may have been electrocuted. Evans says officials are awaiting a ruling from the medical examiner.
Evans said the body was found by a man who was assessing storm damage for an apartment complex near downtown Dallas. He says the body was burned and lying on top of downed tree limbs.
Severe thunderstorms, funnel clouds and hail the size of tennis balls bombarded the Dallas and Fort Worth areas Tuesday night.
