EAST TEXAS — With triple digit heat hitting parts of East Texas, experts say standing outside for too long could get anyone sick.
Doctors say people working, playing, doing yardwork or other things outside may suffer from muscle cramps, heat exhaustion may suffer from muscle cramps, heat exhaustion, or heat stroke.
They say most stay in the sun even after they get symptoms because they don't realize they have it.
Experts say children and the elderly are most likely to suffer from heat exhaustion.
