JACKSONVILLE - "He just left the scene and left me stranded with hurt back and a damaged vehicle."
Jeremy Beall says he was involved in an accident last week. He says he was on his way to friend's house who was suffering from a seizure. Beall says the car in front of him veered off the road.
"With him varying off the shoulder I then decided to pass him in my same lane, he then came back onto the road and then sideswiped the right side of my vehicle."
That's when officials say Officer Tim Mcdonald arrived on scene. Officials say after speaking with the witness, Officer Mcdonald approached Beall.
"Look, I've seen how you drive, I want you to listen to me"..."That has no bearing.." Ok let me tell you what is going to happen then if you keep this crap up I'm going to do a 1050 report and I'm going to cite you twice."
"Officer Mcdonald and Mr. Beall got in a verbal confrontation and Officer Mcdonald became frustrated and just left," said Jacksonville Police Chief Daniels.
The incident left Officer Mcdonald with three months of probation. The Jacksonville police say despite the discipline placed on Officer Mcdonald, they stand by him.
Police Chief Daniels told KETK, "Officer Mcdonald is a good man, he's a good officer, he's new to the job, he's been in it two or three years and he's a human. Human's make mistakes."
