tyler — Would the ability to converse in Spanish give you an edge in your career? Have you ever had the desire to learn a second language? If so, we have a class for you! Back by popular demand, Beginner Conversational Spanish classes will be held during the month of August at the Glass Recreation Center located at 501 W. 32nd St.
Classes will begin on Monday evenings for six weeks from Aug. 1 through Sept. 6. The classes are from 6-7:30 p.m. and the cost is $49 for the entire six week course.
“The Tyler Parks and Recreation Department would like to help you on your quest towards becoming bilingual,” said Debbie Isham, Parks Department Recreation Supervisor.
The instructor will teach Spanish with a “real life” approach that is based on the everyday situations that students are likely to encounter. The class will focus on teaching students the essentials of a Spanish conversation. Lessons will include lecture, class participation, handouts, field trips and more.
