Phone tip led authoritie to Archie's hide out.
Houston — The Houston Chronicle is reporting; The Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force along with the Texas Rangers and Walker County sheriffs arrested Trent Archie at a home in the 8,000 (block) of Neff Street around 1am. Authorities say when they arrived on the scene Archie ran out of the house but was captured a couple blocks away.
Authorities say it was a phone tip that lead to the 29-year-old inmate’s hide out.
Archie had been on the run for three days after the Walker County sheriff’s office says he was out of his cell to make a phone call and over-powered a guard and ran out the jail building.
