New requirements from the fed plauging farmers
Tyler, TX — The U.S. Dept of Transportation wants to change some rules for farmers and ranchers. It has to do with using farm equipment on roads.
The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, wants farmers and ranchers to get a commercial drivers license to drive any farming equipment.
Although farmers always face frustration with the weather and the price of commodities to make a living.. this new proposed regulation may just make some want to throw their hands up in the air.
The Department of Transportation didn't return any of our phone calls.
However, the federal agency did say, they're not proposing new regulations on the farming community.
