Class Action 1997 suit alledges racial discrimination
Lufkin — The Lufkin Daily News is reporting; The Fifth Circuit United States Court of Appeals ruled Monday, for the plantifs in that 1997 case of racial discrimination against Lufkin Industries.
Originally filed by two men, the final suit included more than one thousand people. All of them current and former black employees, who had worked for the company since 1994.
