tyler — Officials at the scene say the wreck happened when a truck heading north veered into the southbound lane.
Smith County troopers two people were taken to a local hospital, but the extent of their injuries is unknown.
The southbound lane of Highway 155 is currently shut down.
Emergency crews are working a major wreck at Highway 155 and Grande Avenue in Tyler.
Two trucks appear to be totaled, but it is unclear if anyone was injured at this time. Witnesses say the saw at least one person taken away in an ambulance.
Traffic is backed up and is being directed by troopers as crews clear the scene.
