Lufkin, Texas — A Lufkin man was arrested Wednesday after admitting he broke his girlfriend's 4-month-old son's leg Aug. 12.
Jimmy McClelland, 25, was taken into custody on a charge of second-degree felony injury to a child Wednesday.
According to an arrest affidavit, McClelland initially told police at the hospital Aug. 12, "He was rocking the child and heard a pop sound." Although the boy is not McClelland's biological son, he has been there since the boy was born, the affidavit stated.
Lufkin Police have arrested Jimmy Brent McClelland and have charged him with injury to a child.
The charge is a second degree felony.
McClelland current resides in Zavalla, Texas.
