Experts say rising temperatures are damaging devices
Tyler, TX — Here at KETK, we've covered this record-braking heat from every angle imaginable.
Today we're looking into a problem a lot of people seem to have, the heat is impacting electronics especially cell-phones. Not too hard to believe, but the heat is battling hand-held devices like Blackberry's and iPhones.
Experts say it can be quite damaging to the device, and unless you feel like forking over cash to buy a new cell... I'd start taking this seriously.
Electronics experts say once the temperatures move to more than room temperature, just like our bodies, the cell phone tries to adjust to the warmer weather.
Cell experts say it doesn't matter whether you've got the latest smart-phone, or an outdated pay as you go phone, all cell's are effected by the heat the same.
But, believe it or not, there's a tip that says if your cell gets to hot, to just simply throw it in the freezer. for awhile.
