Update: Longview Fire Department responding to grass fire

Longview, TX — One structure has been lost in the grass fire.

Longview Fire Marshal Johnny Zackary tells KETK no one lived in the structure that was destroyed.

Fire crews are still on the scene and have the fire under control.

According to the Longview Fire Department twitter site fire fighters are working a grass and brush fire in the area of Bates Street and Whitney Street.
