Rusk County officials asking people to avoid certain roads

RUSK COUNTY — Rusk County officials are asking residents to avoid certain highways because of a fire.

Officials say to avoid south highway 42 from south highway 64 to U.S. highway 79 south

Fire Officials tell KETK firefighters are actively battling a fire there.

There is no word at this time on how large that fire is.

But-- please try to avoid these areas.
