RENO, Nev — A Texas man who volunteered at an annual Houston air show has been identified as among the 11 people killed in a Reno air show crash.
Wings Over Houston Airshow spokeswoman Lauren Martin confirmed to The Associated Press on Tuesday that Craig Salerno was among those who died after a fighter plane dived into a crowd of fans midway through a race.
Martin says Salerno was an avid racing pilot.
Stunt pilot James Leeward also died in the Friday afternoon plane crash.
He was 74 years old and was flying a WWII-era fighter plane.
Reno police announced Tuesday that the death toll had grown to 11 people, up from 10. At least one victim has not been identified.
Emergency officials are trying to compile a missing persons list.
