Dallas wins in overtime
There was a wild fourth quarter comeback.
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - Dirk Nowitzki overcame a poor shooting
night, scoring 28 points and leading a late Dallas rally as the
Mavericks won their 50th game of the season with a 106-102 overtime
victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday night.
Jason Terry scored 29 points for the Mavericks, who have now won
50 games in each of the last 10 seasons. Jason Kidd had 12 points,
10 rebounds and seven assists, and Caron Butler had 11 points and a
season-high 13 rebounds.
The teams were tied at 90 at the end of regulation as Nowitzki
scored 10 of the Mavericks' final 11 points in the fourth quarter.
Nowitzki then had six points in the final 24 seconds of overtime,
including all four of his foul shots.
O.J. Mayo led Memphis with 27 points, while Mike Conley scored
