Lufkin, TX — The country’s longest drug prevention campaign kicks off today across Angelina County.
Red Ribbon Week promotes healthy, drug-free lifestyles through a variety of activities within the school districts, and also gives the community the opportunity to take a stand against drugs.
The theme this year is “It’s Up To Me To Be Drug-Free.”
The Region 5 Prevention Resource Center (PRC) in Nacogdoches, a program of the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Council, is providing resources for Angelina County districts to continue the Red Ribbon Week tradition.
