JACKSONVILLE - The Jacksonville Economic Development Corporation or JEDCO, says it was business as usual, until recently.
They say last year they were approached by the city council to submit projects to the council for approval.
Recently they were accused of being in violation of the Texas Legal Code by only submitting a yearly budget.
Jacksonville City Manager Mo Raissi tells KETK, " "The reason they have not brought some in the past is because there were under the impression that yearly, since the city council yearly they approve the budget, they don't have to bring it back again for every project."
