Vandal proofing your home

TYLER - Vandalism to your home or business can be expensive and take time to clean up. Now a new report says there are several thing you can do to turn the tables on potential vandals.

We're told, graffiti proof paint coatings, security cameras, and indestructible mailboxes are just a few of the things folks can do to protect their homes from vandalism.

Another suggestion experts says is purchasing motion sensor equipment.

Steve Keeton with Ace Hardware tells KETK, "You can get a motion sensor to trigger a light to come on when somebody walks in your yard, motion sensor for lawn sprinklers anything, you can hook it to where a buzzer will go off when you have motion."
