But now, fitness magazine has published a top ten list of most healthful and least healthful snacks to get from the vending machine.
Of course potato and corn chips, candy bars, and fruit snacks are part of the unhealthy list.
But one of the more surprising items was cheddar filled crackers.
This is an item many people go to, thinking they are eating relatively healthy.
But it is actually a trans fat nightmare.
Experts say to look for baked chips and more natural products when searching for snacks.
And though these may be better choices, experts say that if you are truly watching your diet, vending machines shouldn't be an option at all.
