TYLER, TX (KETK) - — The Syrup Festival is homecoming for many in Henderson.
No matter what part of the state you may have moved off to, when it comes November, you usually find yourself back in town.
The Syrup Festival is a time of civic pride for a community that values its history.
Visitors can see cane syrup being grinded by hand, with the help of a mule, or take a hayride downtown, to see all there is to do at the event.
Many of the historical aspects of the festival can be found near the Henderson Depot Museum
And whether it's the food, fun, or interesting things you may see on the street.
The benefits, for the community, and its youth are immense.
