tyler — Let me be there first to say in this country you are innocent until proven guilty.
But, this Penn State deal stinks to high heaven.
How can there be this many cases of alleged pedophilia and no one, no one ever called the cops?
President Obama was asked about this and he wisely chose his words very carefully and said basically--and I paraphrase- "we have to be careful protecting an institution over protecting people."
Well done Mr.President.
That is what this all boils down to.
It has been reported many in the football program and the administration knew what was going on. Some say they told "someone" about what coach Sandusky was up to but, never anyone who could actually do something.
When I first heard this news break on radio two Saturdays ago, I thought there is no way this thing could be true with this many people involved.
Well now it looks like there were a lot of people involved and I could be wrong here, but this looks like they covered up for the university.
Let me say once again, no wrong-doing has been proved.
Really disturbing was members of the student body who tore up TV live trucks and rioted because "Jo-Pa", that's head coach Joe Paterno's nickname, that "Jo-Pa" was fired.
What rock have these kids been living under?
When one student, when being asked questions about the alleged incident by a reporter, asked that reporter if he loved "Jo-Pa".
The reporter refused to answer. The kid told the reporter to go and blank himself.
The federal government is doing the right thing to investigate. The justice department needs to scour that university and any bit left of anything pointing to or aiding and abetting hurting children should be fired and run out of town.
At this day and age to think something like this alleged incident could still be covered up is despicable.
That's my point of view, what's yours?
