LUFKIN — Investigators need your help identifying the suspects in an Aggravated Robbery.
At approximately 11:15 PM on October 25, 2011, Lufkin Police Department officers responded to a robbery at Winston Park in Lufkin.
The two, male victims stated they were lured to the park by a person they meet previously through a friend. They stated that the person, known to them only by the first name of John, asked for a ride from Winston Park to the dorms at Angelina College.
The victims found John near the Park's restrooms and were asked by him to give a ride to his friend. The victim's agreed but soon found the suspects, John and the friend, at each side of the vehicle. The suspects forced victims, at gunpoint, to exit the vehicle, and leaned then against the vehicle while removing their property from their pockets. The victims were forced to lie on the ground while the suspects, who were then joined by several other males, searched the victims' vehicle, stealing its Alpine brand in-dash radio.
The suspects fled on-foot through the Park, leaving the victims without their wallets, mobile phones, or the keys to their vehicle.
The victims described all the suspects as young-looking, black males and said one was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with black letters and a red symbol on the front that looked like "Texas". They described "John" as a nineteen- to twenty-year-old, skinny, bright skin, black male, approximately five feet, ten inches tall, with a noticeably-round head.
