TYLER, TX (KETK) - — We all have different pictures in our minds about retirement.
Sometimes, it involves taking it easy, a round of gold or tennis, or just socializing with our friends.
But, that takes money.
And a new survey by the folks at Wells Fargo shows, most of us don't think we'll have enough.
So, 80% of the folks they surveyed thought, they'd just have to keep working.
Some people who had been responsible, simply got caught in the recession.
"Yes people have been severely affected by the economy and the economic downturn. And many folks either started saving too late, or they have not saved enough,"
said James Holloway of Texas Financial and Retirement.
And then there's the chance we may simply outlive our money.
And though they'll figure out a fix for social Security, it was never meant to be the whole ball game.
"Social Security is not intended to completely support your lifestyle."
And all those bulletproof 28-year-olds that some of us work with?
"The sooner you start, the less the burden is, for the balance of your working years, and maybe even, the sooner you can retire."
