TYLER — Update:
Police tell KETK that a pair of Gucci shoes were found at the crime scene.
When police interviewed Hernanadez he was not wearing shoes at the time.
Police determined that Hernandez was the owner, and arrested him with probable cause.
PRESS RELEASE: On 11/20/2011 at about 4:23 AM, Tyler Police received a residential alarm in the 300 block of W. First St. Tyler Police Dispatch then received a call from a neighbor who witnessed a Hispanic male running from the house where the audible burglar alarm system was going off. Tyler Police Officers arriving on scene discovered that the back door of the residence had been forced open. Tyler Police Officer Noe Balderas then located a Hispanic male matching the description of that given by the witness approximately 6 blocks from the scene. Investigation resulted in the arrest of the subject detained by Officer Balderas. The suspect, identified as 27 year old Antonio Hernandez, was arrested and charged with Burglary of a Habitition.
