HARRISON COUNTY — Harrison County Sheriff officials tell KETK, the accident is clear as of 3:00 a.m. on Monday.
Harrison County DPS confirms with KETK that three 18 wheelers were involved in a wreck on I-20 this afternoon.
According to officials, the first 18 wheeler lost control, slid across the road and overturned causing another 18 wheeler to strike it.
The third 18 wheeler then swerved and hit the other two.
The driver and passenger of the first 18 wheeler were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
Officials say the wrecks were most likely caused due to the wet roads.
Westbound I-20 at FM 968 has been shut down and traffic is being diverted around the accident.
