Major drug bust in Nacogdoches County; 2 arrested

FROM THE NACOGDOCHES COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT:

Linking information discovered in a search warrant my office executed on Wednesday night with information we have been collecting for weeks, we executed another search warrant last night in Cushing. The effort led to the arrest of two Nacogdoches County drug dealers and led to the confiscation of numerous baggies of methamphetamine already packaged for selling, as well as the seizure of several thousand dollars cash and other property that was believed to have been reported stolen.

Steven Michael Kelly of Cushing and Ricky Eugene Sowell of Woden were arrested at two separate locations as a result of this investigation. This was a significant blow to the local drug trade in our county.
