Nacogdoches Sheriff Thomas Kerss tells KETK, Texas Bank and Trust in Cushing was burglarized just after midnight Thursday morning.
He says, the suspect, or suspects, disconnected the electrical meter, cut phone lines and used a tool to make entry into building.
Kerss says, they attempted to pry open cash drawers and night deposits.
In all, they made off with less than $70.00 in coins.
But, in the process, they caused approximately $2,500 in damage to the facility.
No one was in the building at the time of the robbery and no one was hurt.
