Longview, TX — A Zavalla man was arrested Saturday after admitting to slicing the throat of his then-girlfriend's puppy last month.
On Dec. 15, a Huntington Police officer responded to a home on Gibson Street in reference to a domestic disturbance between Jeremy Spencer, 30, of Zavalla and his girlfriend, according to Huntington Police Chief Bobby Epperly. While getting his clothes from the home, Spencer reportedly admitted to officer Kody Moore that he sliced her two-month-old puppy's throat with his pocket knife.
