Anti-obesity ads, featuring overweight kids, are sparking controversy in Georgia.
The ads feature children talking about their weight issues.
Officials with Children's Health Care of Atlanta say, they intended the ads to be grim, in hopes that it would help parents recognize the severity of obesity.
However, critics are slamming the "Strong 4 Life" Campaign for its use of shock tactics.
They say, the ads don't actually offer a solution to child obesity.
And, they worry, the campaign will create self-confidence problems.
By the way, Georgia is number two in the nation when it comes to obesity issues.
