Houston cop shoots at man with gun near bar

No injuries but man and woman in custody

Houston — The Houston Chronicle is reporting; an off-duty police officer opened fire at a man who pointed a gun at him outside a bar in southeast Houston early Wednesday morning.

The gunfire happened in the parking lot of the El Portal nightclub at 7024 Lawndale about 2:30 a.m., according to the Houston Police Department.
