longview — Fredonia Rd. is now open following the structure fire on Monday afternoon.
Officials say three people were at home at the time of the fire, but they were able to escape without injury.
The cause of the fire is unknown, but those who were in the house report that the lights went out and there was a strong smell of smoke.
The house is owned by a local church.
The fire is under investigation.
The 600 block of Fredonia Rd. in Longview is blocked from Hwy. 80 to Henderson St. while crews extinguish a residential structure fire.
There is now word on any injuries at this time.
