SMITH COUNTY — Firefighters were busy Thursday morning with a house fire in the Bullard area.
Smith County Fire officials tell KETK, the fire broke out around 4:00 a.m. in the 200 block of Summerset Court in Bullard.
Firefighters reported heavy smoke and flames in the living room area upon arrival.
Firefighters were on scene for about two hours.
The living room and kitchen of the house were destroyed. Firefighters also say, there is smoke and water damage in a utility room.
There's no word on what injuries may be involved, or the cause of the blaze.
Fire Marshals are still investigating the fire.
