TYLER, TX (KETK) - — I mentioned Wednesday that unless there is a scandal extrordenaire... Mitt Romney will be the Republican party nominee.
I, like many of you think the election process is out dated.
But, after South Carolina it looks like Romey has this thing in the bag.
Now..its strange to see Republicans as well as dems unload on Romney as being a tool of the rich.
Let me let you in on a little secret.
When was the last time a poor man was elected president?
When was the last time an outsider was elected.
They are all insiders.
In our lifetime..to raise the money you need to be president you have to be part of the game.
You hear Newt Gingrich and now Texas governor Rick Perry go after Romney as a venture capitalist.
Last I looked being a venture capitalist was legal.
Venture capitalists are at work every day propping up companies about to fail or which have failed.
You think they are going to do this for free?
And let me tell you this.
I have skin in this game myself.
I have worked for companies that have run I to finacial problems.
The money has to come from somewhere or everybody is fired.
To hear Perry call Romney a vulture capitalist...really?
If you check the rich folks who are contributing the Perry's presidentail run....they're venture capitalists.
One is T. Boone Pickens.
It just breaks my heart that this country now is doing nothing but complain about others who are successful.
Am I shilling for Romney
You bet I'm not.
But the politics of envy has go to stop.
On both sides.
That's my point of view whats yours?
