TYLER — FROM THE CITY OF TYLER:
The City Manager’s goal for the 10 in 10 Challenge is to encourage himself and others to lose 10 pounds in the next 10 weeks, particularly in light of the fact that many people put on weight during the holiday season.
At least 30 community leaders have joined the 10 in 10 Challenge and will be participating in the weekly weigh-ins, including George Roberts of the Northeast Texas Public Health System, Sherriff JB Smith, and others.
The Fit City Challenge is a community-wide campaign to promote fitter lifestyles in Tyler and the rest of East Texas.
