As of 3:00pm on Wednesday, there were 4500 reported outages. Two East Texas schools dismissed early after they lost power: Woden ISD and Mt. Enterprise.
A tin roof was blown off a building on 2275 in Nacogdoches County. It has since been cleared from the roadway.
Also, a tree fell onto a house on FM 225, just south of Cushing. No injuries were reported.
There have been no other major reports of damage in Nacogdoches County.
The National Weather Service is now reporting a guard shack has blown over and moved about 50 feet in Angelina County. A specific location is not confirmed at this time.
The National Weather Service is reporting that a roof has blown off of a house, and is blocking parts of Hwy. 259 in Rusk County.
Rusk County emergency officials tell KETK, this debris was minor and has been cleared. The incident occured at Hwy. 84 and Hwy 259 in Mt. Enterprise.
The National Weather Service reports that there are several trees and power lines down near CR 444 and FM 315 in Anderson County.
Also in Anderson County, there are two storage buildings and several trees that have blown down near CR 181 and CR 179.
Anderson County officials tell KETK, a home in Anderson County was destroyed by a downburst near the intersection of Hwy. 287 and FM 2706. Crews are still on scene. Nobody was injured, and the home was unoccupied.
