Harris Co. spending $2 million on tree removal

City of Houston spending $4.5 million to do the same

Houston — The Houston Chronicle is reporting; with the approval of Commissioners Court last month, Harris county taxpayers are putting $2 million toward removing dead and dying trees from public land. The city of Houston is spending $4.5 million to do the same.
