tyler — I love how people love the Constitution, until it gets in the way of what they want to do,.
I love the the First Amendment. That's why I have a job.
I am also a big fan of the Second Amendment, the right to bear arms.
Funny how some think this amendment needs to be modified, if not taken away.
It's dangerous when you think how many Ruth Bader Ginsburgs there are out there. She's the sitting justice on the U.S. Supreme Court who just last week told folks in Egypt, don't model your constitution after ours. It's old and tired, and the government needs more power.
Virginia's law limiting residents to one handgun purchase per month seems to be on its way out after the state senate voted 21-19 to repeal it on Monday in Richmond.
The House of Delegates passed its version of the bill two days ago, and Gov. Robert F. McDonnell has indicated he would sign the legislation, which has been on the books since 1993.
Now, the full liberal freak out has begun.
How did this lousy law of one gun a month get on the books anyway? The mayors of New York and Boston just did an ad together in which they say they're for the Second Amendment, but want to make it harder to buy guns.
Really?
Illinois has tried to do away with guns.
When the CHl was made law here in Texas, the DPS and libs didn't like it.
We were supposed to turn into Dodge City.
Didn't happen.
Did you know that crimes committed by law abiding citizens is less that .05% in Texas? That's what a peace officer told me.
There are numerous stories of thugs running off once they see someone else with a gun.
The fact that some say law abiding people are cheated out of their Second Amendment rights just burns me up.
That's my point of view, what's yours?
