Setting the right atmosphere is crucial for a Valentine's Day Dinner.
Waffle House knows that.
A few of their restaurants are getting ready to change from a traditional diner to a romantic date spot for Valentine's Day.
"It will have tablecloths," said Waffle House Area Director Chris Parrott. "It will have alcohol free champagne. The lighting will be dimmer. It will be cloth napkins instead of paper. The atmosphere will be more of 5-star sit down and less fast production waffle house."
The idea started five years ago in an Atlanta Waffle House.
If you want in on this for Valentine's night, you better hurry up.
The Waffle House in Tifton, Georgia already has 12 reservations and they say they are going fast.
And more people do seem interested.
Tyler Bridwell is a student in Tifton.
He says it will be a fun experience that fits into his budget.
"The girl that I'm taking doesn't know that we're going to Waffle House yet," said Bridwell. "She just knows she needs to dress up pretty fancy. I expect to see a pretty good amount of patrons."
The idea is to bring an endearing feel to a Southern tradition.
They will of course have waffles available, but, they will also offer a different menu.
"It's going to be a specialized menu: ribeye and eggs, porkchop dinner, T-bone dinner," said Parrott. "It will be a very short. But, it is more about the atmosphere."
