The Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at Northeast Texas Community College will host the Masters of Motown on Feb. 16 at 7:30 p.m.
"This is sure to be a fun, upbeat evening that will have everyone singing along. This group does an excellent job of recreating some of the best-loved songs from the 1960s and we are excited to host them at the Whatley Center," Carolyn Franks, Whatley Center director, said.
In the early 60's some of the most iconic names in the history of popular music were discovered in the Motor City, better known simply as Motown. Masters of Motown is a celebration of these artists, their music and their style. The show features stylishly costumed, fully choreographed tributes to both male and female groups of the era.
