TYLER — Tyler Police tell KETK, a motorcyclist has been taken to the hospital following a major wreck on Paluxy Dr. Thursday morning.
It happened just north of Grande Blvd.
Police say Curtis Jordan was driving a motorcycle in the northbound lanes of Paluxy, when a woman in a black Equinox attempted to merge from the turning lane into the northbound lanes of traffic.
The woman hit Jordan, sending him into the southbound lanes. Fortunately, there was no southbound traffic at the time.
Jordan did sustain injuries, and was taken to a Tyler hospital.
Officials say his injuries are not life-threatening.
Tyler Police are on the scene of a major accident at the intersection of Paluxy Dr. and Shiloh Rd.
Witnesses tell KETK, there is a motorcycle involved.
KETK has a crew en route, and will provide more information as it becomes available.
There are also reports of a major wreck at Paluxy Dr. and Grande Blvd.
Drivers are urged to find another route.
