The Longview Metropolitan Planning Organization has scheduled a public meeting on Wednesday, March 7 at 10:00 a.m. in the Council Chambers located in the Jo Ann Metcalf Municipal Building, 300 W. Cotton St., to review the draft 2013 – 2016 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). The Longview TIP is a plan which identifies federally funded highways, bridges and public transportation projects which will be constructed or implemented in the next four years. The MPO Policy Board is the top-level transportation planning committee providing both review and policy guidance for transportation planning in the Longview area.
