Longview — The Longview News Journal is reporting: Water levels at Lake O’ the Pines have steadily improved during recent months.
Walt Sears, general manager of the Northeast Texas Municipal Water District, recently told board members the lake is higher than it has been since Labor Day.
The lake serves as a major water source to the city of Longview.
“Recent rains continue to modestly improve Lake O’ the Pines,” Sears said at the meeting. “The lake is now storing a little over 200,000 acre feet.”
