Tyler — On Monday, investigators have been advised by Child Protective Services that they expect the child, identified as 1-year old Demarion Crow, to be released from a hospital in Dallas today.
Child Protective Services will take control of the child during this investigation.
On March 17, 2012 Tyler Police responded to East Texas Medical Center in reference to a 1 year old child with a blood alcohol of over .2.
The child was flown to Children’s Hospital in Dallas and listed in critical condition. Detectives responded to the scene and conducted an investigation.
A warrant for Injury to a Child was issued for the suspect Ronchekal Demune Yon.
At approximately 4:00 p.m., Yon was located and arrested at 1113 North Moore. Yon was transported to the Smith County Jail for Injury to a Child 3rd degree felony.
