tyler — This story reported on the Daily Caller today.
Someone found a 1995 video of Eric Holder, who is now attorney general, saying we need to basically brainwash kids away from guns.
Again this was 1995, but gives insight to what he really thinks.
Guns have been his Achilles heel, especially when it come to operation Fast and Furious.
Throughout the speech he makes to the nations Women Democratic Club, he goes on to mention that
Hollywood, TV and radio stations need to pool their creative efforts to show kids that guns are not cool and
we don't need them.
Of course the attorney general is a lawyer which I hope would imply he has had even a brush with learning the United States Constitution.
Remember that pesky Second Amendment?
We have the right to bear arms responsibly.
There is always going to be that yahoo who does something stupid, but c'mon!
Instead of focusing on guns like he did in the 90s, why was he not also concerned with other issues
that has harmed America more than guns?
Why didn't he call on Hollywood to make some movies people would actually want to watch without gratuitous nudity and swearing?
Why didn't he address the problem of unwed pregnancies and the drain that is on America?
Why didn't he address drugs?
These are the issues that really have a drag on our way of life since the 1990s?
But it's always about guns.
This makes as much sense as the Department of Energy appointee of this administration who we know now doesn't even own a car.
How's that for someone who can sympathize about gas prices?
We need more people who have lived in the real world in government on local, state and federal levels.
Not academicians with an ax to grind.
That's my point of view, what's yours?
