UPDATE: SUV veers into oncoming traffic, causing four vehicle wreck

SMITH COUNTY — Smith County DPS officials tell KETK crews on scene, that an SUV veered into oncoming traffic just south of Gresham on Old Jacksonville Road, around 8:30 a.m. Friday morning.

The SUV collided head-on with a pick-up truck, and caused a chain reaction resulting in a four-vehicle pile up.

Officials tell KETK that nobody was taken to the hospital.

DPS and emergency vehicles are on the scene of a four-vehicle wreck on Old Jacksonville Road, near the Flint-Gresham fire station.

At least one person is pinned in a vehicle at this time.
